"Even though I'm a Puerto Rican girl from the Bronx, I still love old time folk music," says Alynda Lee Segarra (and in the video, she's in New Orleans Day Of The Dead dress!)
Her clear-as-a-bell voice can be old-timey as easily as it can feel modern and immediate, and the band moves with ease between string band, 60s girl groups and garage-y enthusiasm.
