Newport Folk 2013: Justin Townes Earle

Based on the last visit to Newport Folk for Justin Townes Earle . . . get to his set early.

When JTE performed in 2011, the Quad Stage tent was packed, long before his set began.  And when the music started, the crowd knew every word.

With his continued success, including  excellent release "Nothing's Gonna Change The Way You Feel About Me Now" expect Earle's profile to be raised even further.

Justin Townes Earle comes to Newport Folk 2013, and mvyradio will be there again, participating in NPR Music's coverage. Hear performances live from the stage on mvyradio, July 26th through 28th. And watch this space for more NFF artist previews.

Hear Justin Townes Earle and the other artists scheduled to appear at this year's festival, on our Newport Folk Channel, which you can stream for free!

New on mvyradio: Jason Isbell

"Put him on paper, or behind a guitar, and he can fly.”

That quote is from Justin Townes Earle, in a really excellent New York Times article on Jason Isbell.
