New on mvyradio: Jonny Two Bags

0comments
Jonny Two Bags (aka Jonny Wickersham) has been part of the California Punk scene for decades, most recently as a guitarist for Social Distortion.  His first solo album has a more rootsy feel, and fits nicely on MVY playlist.

We're sending his song "One Foot In The Gutter" as a free download to our Friends of mvyradio today.  Enjoy!

New on mvyradio: Katie Herzig

We've been following Katie Herzig for a few years now, and think she's one of those songwriters worth watching.  Articulate and interesting, with a pop-sensibility and a sense of sonic adventure, she's one to keep watching.

New on mvyradio: David Crosby

He's made (and sold) many albums, but almost always his name shares the title space with other artists.  On Croz, it's David Crosby up front.  We're playing "What's Broken."

MVY Videos!

Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our goal of raising $12,000 during our recent Friends of mvyradio drive.

As you know, a year-long budget for a non-profit like Friends of mvyradio is made up of a series of goals.  So while we are happy that we made the recent goal, we are looking forward to hitting the next mark.

So far, we have raised about $21,000 in listener donations since the beginning of the year.  To stay on track, we need to get to $30,000 by the end of March.

If you were thinking of donating during our drive, but didn't get the chance, know that a donation today will move us right along toward that goal.

And if you need convincing, here are a few fun videos that we made and posted during the drive.
